Susan completed the Shalem Institute's Spiritual Guidance Program with a focus in Contemplative Awareness in May, 2006. She has been offering Spiritual Direction for over ten years. Other training includes:
Stephen Minister and Stephen Leader (2003,2006)
Studied Zen Buddhism for two years with a member of the Zen
Community in Paris, France. (2001-2003)
Bio-Spiritual Focusing Therapy (2002)
Reiki I & II practitioner (2001)
Completion of the Education for Ministry Program (EFM) (2000)
Susan was raised in the Roman Catholic church and is currently a Lutheran laywoman. Her spiritual interests include; Christian Mysticism, Centering Prayer (Fr. Thomas Keating), St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila and Jungian spirituality. She has been married for 21 years, has two daughters and is an avid yoga practitioner and meditation teacher.
