In the midst of a busy life, many people find it difficult to notice God's action in their daily affairs. Spiritual direction is about responding to God's invitation to draw closer in relationship. It is meant to help a person learn how to be attentive to God's presence and action in his or her life and to make choices.

The subject matter of spiritual direction is what seems significant in the life of the person seeking direction. It could be exploring a dream or critical issue discerning life choices, discovering ways to prayer, or simply acknowledging a longing or question that persists over time.

The spiritual director/companion remains present to the directee through deep listening, evocative questions, support, and creating a safe environment where one can openly and prayerfully explore where God's spirit is leading.at awareness. Spiritual Direction is the art of examining your life for the energy and presence of God. Spiritual direction is a kind of guidance that can help you focus on meditation and prayer, increased awareness and the radical power of God's unconditional love.
